Where is it?

The village of Kapparis is at the eastern end of the island of Cyprus. Cyprus forms the historic crossroads between Europe and the Near East, situated at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea.

The island of Cyprus has been divided since 1974. The northern third has been claimed by Turkey. The rest of Cyprus is predominantly Greek speaking, independent, self-governing and a member of the EU. The dashed lines indicate the UN designated border. Kapparis is just south of this border making it really easy to cross over to the Turkish side, to explore the antiquities and the beautiful Karpas peninsula.

The neighbouring towns of Paralimni and Deryneia provide many shops and supermarkets for all your needs.

Leoforos Kappari is the main village street, and you can see on the map below, the many sheltered coves for you to explore.
